Below you’ll find a couple of videos showing how to change oil in your car or truck.

Now you know how to change oil in your vehicle. A few things to keep in mind…the oil and filter used in the videos may not be the correct ones for your vehicle, so make sure you get the correct oil and filter for your vehicle. The location of your filter may be different, but the process is the same. So don’t worry if your filter is in a completely different area.

Also, make sure you use the right amount of oil. Some vehicles may take 5 quarts, while others may take as much as 8 quarts. It’s very important that you don’t overfill it. Too much oil isn’t good, and it’s much easier to add some later than it is to remove some if you’re overfilled it.

Lastly, and this is very important…..before adding oil, make sure that you have replaced the oil drain bolt! The last thing you want to do is watch the money you saved by doing it yourself dripping onto the ground, lol.
